A Word from Snake Keeper, Brock Severson

The Epsilon Omicron Chapter enjoys the widely held tradition of taking care of our mascot, the snake, in our fraternity house. Our snake’s name is Montwo, and she is a beautiful, three year old albino reticulated python. Clocking in at 11 and a half feet and 30 lbs, Montwo spends her time in her custom cage and loyally protects our fraternity’s charter. The chapter takes great pride in treating her with the utmost care and respect. Every year the officer position of “Snake Keeper” is elected, who takes initiative in cleaning her cage, feeding her, and taking her out to hang out with some of the brothers!

Fun Fact: Montwo is looking forward to starring in a film in the 2024 Spring Semester! A few students from USC’s school of Cinematic Arts reached out to Sigma Nu because they needed a live snake in their upcoming short film, Teddy and Elizabeth. Although she doesn’t have any lines, we are excited to witness our beloved snake’s debut on the big screen!
