Honoring Tradition and Service

The Epsilon Omicron chapter of Sigma Nu, proudly roots itself in selfless service and tradition. Sigma Nu was originally founded at the Virginia Military Institute, where cadets developed into young men by committing themselves to selfless service and discipline. The Epsilon Omicron Chapter proudly shares a long lineage of graduated service members, as well as developing current brothers before they begin their service.

Currently the Chapter includes six cadets, who are training to become United States Army Officers. Epsilon Omicron is extremely proud of its past, present, and future service members, who contribute strong moral values and add to the culture.

Brother Gabe Bartholet will be serving as the Chapter’s Marshall for the Spring 2024 semester, and in his words is “extremely grateful to be able to help these boys transition into becoming young men through sharing values that I have been able to learn and experience.”

“I am extremely appreciative of the older brother’s who essentially took me in and were able to guide me through my first year of college. Growing up in Kansas and then coming out to California was not only a big culture shock, but was also hard not being with friends or family. That is why I am so thankful to have found a house that shares similar values to me, but also to have that home and brotherhood 1,600 miles away from “home”, because to me this house is home.” – Gabe Bartholet

As our current seniors begin preparations to commission as United States Army Officers, it is time for Brothers Bartholet and Egan to carry on the lineage, as well as sharing values important to becoming a man. We are extremely excited for the future of the house and for the legacy to continue.
